DVDR includes 8 Argumentix videos animated by James Squeaky.
Argumentix built bulk pressured tight in a crock pot for several years stretching out its infant T-Rex arms to 4-track awkward exploration and vague focus producing charming mistakes.

Argumentix is electronic harsh-goth noise-lounge. A configuration of electronic devices (sampler, pedals, drum machine) leaded w/ unintentional tape loops, minimal beats and grating scrapes of amplified scratching metal with loads of appropriation of adult contemporary.

James Squeaky is Argumentix and could also be called “Boss of Goth” or simply “Power Bear.” The only instrument that truly matters to Squeaky is the voice, the most diverse and unique of all musical devices.

For the first time on vinyl, Argumentix skates the grooves, surviving against society’s bleak cynicism. Trash Skull Records has released this sonic split personality just in time for a new era of psychic erosion with the intent to release optimism and hope.

My biggest influences are a culmination of every sound ever heard, but a good starting point for the results would be Christian Death's first album (effeminate punk goth), Throbbing Gristle, Elton John, Nick Cave, Supreme Dicks, Jandek, Edward Ka-Spell (of Legendary Pink Dots), my friend's bands and DJ Screw's production.

 From previous band's powers... Alarmist's tight frightening punk edge, Sex with Girl's no boundaries identity leaping and Space Hawk's drugged out epic story telling, Argumentix was born from combing experimentation and defining my singular focused vision, creating a product that is uniquely only myself.

Side A: “Tarantula Downpour Glass of Wine for Dinner” is based on an all too realistic dream about post-modern identity drowning itself in lack of confidence. It’s also about mind-control through chemical warfare by both force and volunteer. What if the apocalypse has already come and gone and this is just us trying to make sense of the end times?

Side B: “Lend Me your Blanket (I Wanna Dream About You)” is a love song to James’s dead mother. She rests inside his voice and Argumentix feels her spirit when he sings.

Bonus DVDR includes 8 original animated videos by James Squeaky, including a video for “Tarantula Downpour,” along with songs from various other releases. They range from crude drawings and feline adventures to dense rotating patterns of melting color.
